Privacy
Radian is built by an EU-based company. This notice covers the Radian website, Radian accounts, and the separate public beta list. It explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
You can browse the site and download Radian without an account. If you create an account, we use Hanko to manage your identity, sign-in methods, verification, recovery, and sessions. Joining the beta list is a separate choice and does not happen when you create an account.
What we collect
- Account and authentication data. This can include your email address, its verification status, a Hanko user ID, linked Google or GitHub identity details, password credentials in hashed form, recovery and verification events, and session data. We do not receive your Google or GitHub password.
- Beta-list data. If you submit a beta form, we use the email address you provide to manage the list and send beta updates. This record is separate from your Radian account.
- Website and performance data. Our host records standard request and security logs. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect page, browser, device, approximate country, and performance information in order to measure traffic and improve the site. These products are configured without advertising trackers.
We do not use your account registration to subscribe you to marketing, and we do not sell personal data or run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Why we use it
We use account data to create and secure your identity, let you sign in, verify your email, recover access, prevent abuse, and provide account settings. We use beta-list data only for the beta communications you requested. We use limited website and performance data to operate, secure, and improve the site.
Service providers
We use Hanko for authentication and account management, Resend for the separate beta list and its emails, and Vercel to host and measure the website. If you choose Google or GitHub sign-in, that provider processes the authentication request under its own privacy terms and sends Hanko the account information needed to complete sign-in.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are covered by the safeguards available through our service agreements and applicable law.
Cookies
Hanko stores a necessary session cookie named hanko after sign-in. It is used to keep you authenticated and protect account-only pages. The site does not use that cookie for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists and for any limited period required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. You can delete your Hanko identity from the account page. We keep your beta-list email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the beta program ends. Deleting one record does not automatically delete the other because the two systems are separate.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. You can manage core identity data in your account or email hello@withradian.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
This notice will change as account, subscription, Cloud, and desktop features ship. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and provide any further notice required by law.
